# Add a Member
This tutorial helps you as an admin create a new member or visitor for your church directory.
First go to People on the sidebar then click on the "Add User" button in the top right hand corner of the page.
Then after filling out the users information at the bottom under groups you will click either the member or the visitor button. When this is complete don't forget to hit the "Save New User" button to complete the process.
